Gifted Hands

We just watched this movie the other night and it has to be one of the most inspiring movies I have ever seen. We watched it with the kids although it was a little intense at time and we had them close their eyes. There was no bad language though or indecency.

It is the story of an Afican American young man who grew up fatherless, impoverished and underprivileged who at the age of ten was a failure in school. But with the encouragement of his mother who believed that he could succeed he became one of the worlds leading neurosurgeons.

It is the absolutely inspiring story of how with sheer determination, a will to succeed, parents who believe in you and faith in God a person can overcome with biggest obstacles and become what no one would have ever though possible

With God all things are possible. Matt. 19:26

We rented our copy at Redbox

Now I need to get the book.

Cuba Gooding Jr. is such a good actor. Sound like a good movie. he's also excellent in Rat Race (ha- that's a joke- if you ever saw it, you would get it.)
